are one of only 8 RV dealers named as the most 100 influential over the past century.
As America's RV industry reved up for a year's worth of celebrations in recognition of its 2010 Centennial, RVIA sent the Official Ambassador of the 2010 RV Centennial - a 34" American black bear stuffed animal - on a road trip to honor the people who love RVing and the workers who are the heart and soul of the RV industry. RV companies and consumer shows participating in "Centennial Charlie's Cross-Country Caravan" hosted the 2010 RV Centennial mascot for a few days before sending him on to his next stop on the 100-day tour. View Charlie's visit to Little Dealer Little Prices RV below.
2010 was the 100th anniversary of the RV business. In 1910 the first RV's (pop-up trailers) were mass produced. As part of the industries Centennial Celebration RV Business publications went on a search to identify the 100 most influential people in the RV industry over the past 100 years. This was a huge task because there are thousands of companies such as, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, publishers, dealers, finance, marketing firms, software companies, parks, campgrounds, etc. that are associated with the RV industry. Little Dealer little Prices was one of only 8 RV dealers named as the most 100 influential over the past century.
In early 2007, the foundation moved into its new facility at 21565 Executive Parkway in Elkhart. The 56,000 square foot brand building houses the RV/MH Hall of Fame honoring industry leaders, a museum of vintage units from 1913 up to the 1970s, a Go RVing Hall showcasing the latest current models, an Exhibitors Hall where industry supply firms tell their company story, and the world's largest library of RV and manufactured housing related literature and photos.
